A Message from Booster: Fuel Markets, Global Uncertainty, and What Booster Is Doing About It

We wanted to keep everyone informed about how the recent events in the Middle East may impact Booster fuel pricing as recent escalations in the region have introduced meaningful uncertainty into global oil markets.

While predicting the precise trajectory of fuel prices during an active geopolitical conflict is not possible with complete certainty, Booster is structured to handle this volatility. Our transparent pricing helps our customers understand their fuel spend on a day-to-day basis while our operational flexibility ensures they have reliable access to the fuel they need.

Booster Fuel Pricing Transparency

At Booster we build our contracts with transparency as the foundation. Fuel pricing is benchmarked to a recognized market index, either OPIS (the wholesale standard) or retail prices. That benchmark is the foundation of our customers’ fuel cost. To make pricing even more clear, our service fees are fixed, clearly stated, and unaffected by fuel market pricing.

This approach means that our customers know what they are paying for fuel and why – always. Additionally our technology and real time data means that our customers can see price changes directly in their invoices, whether those market prices go up or down. There are no surprises.

In addition to our transparent pricing, we structured our business with operational flexibility in mind. We are able to shift between product types, procurement strategies, and supply sources on a daily or even hourly basis to protect our customers from price variances that could break their fuel budgets. Even in places like California, where regional concerns like refinery dynamics outweigh the immediate effects of global conflicts on the market, fleets know they can rely on Booster to deliver affordable fuel every day.

How Booster Helps Fleets Weather Market Uncertainty

Fuel price volatility is a useful reminder that the commodity is only part of what fueling actually costs a fleet. Between ready fuel availability and the hidden costs of traditional fueling stations, the true cost of fueling is higher than the per gallon price. Mobile fuel delivery is the solution that protects every fleet’s fuel budget.

Guaranteed Fuel Access Through Our Supply Agreements. Retail gas stations can run low or run out of fuel during supply disruptions. Booster operates through contracted supply agreements that give us priority access even when the retail market tightens. We monitor supply conditions continuously and adjust logistics proactively, so fleets keep moving when others are sitting still. Our customers know they can depend on our mobile fuel delivery to keep them on the road.

Reduces True Cost of Fueling. Booster eliminates the burden of hidden fueling costs, consistently delivering a lower true cost of fueling. By removing gas station trips from a driver’s responsibilities, fleet managers save driver time and labor budget. Fewer gas station trips also reduces real material costs, like vehicle wear and tear. When fuel prices rise, efficiency measures like this are more important than ever.

High fuel prices also often lead to a sharp rise in fuel theft and fuel card misuse. Driver skimming, card fraud, and pump side shrinkage all get worse as budgets tighten across the country. When our customers remove the need to go to a fueling station, they can immediately see the cost benefit of theft prevention in their bottom line. For many fleets, this alone justifies the switch to mobile fueling, and in a high price environment, the math becomes even more clear.

When you factor in the fully loaded cost of traditional fueling with fueling trips and liability, Booster consistently delivers a lower true cost independent of commodity price levels.

Our Commitment

Again, we won’t pretend to predict where fuel prices go from here, but we are built to handle these conditions.

Our commitment is this: Our customers’ vehicles will be fueled and ready. We’re watching the market, managing supply, and will communicate any developments that materially affect our service or pricing.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
