We are honored (and thrilled!) to announced that Booster has been recognized by the Women In Trucking Association as a Top Company for Women to Work For in Transportation. Booster is on a mission to reinvent the way energy is delivered, in every way, and we thrive on doing things differently. Our company sits at the intersection of the historically male-dominated tech industry and trucking, an industry of just 8% women. We’re taking this moment to celebrate the women on our team who are dedicated to disrupting the status quo and driving us forward. Let’s meet two of them!
Ja’nai Spain is a mother, service professional, Class B license holder, avid movie goer, and k-pop fanatic. Since she joined the team eight months ago, she has delighted peers and customers with her unwavering positivity and the care that she puts into her work. Watch her explain the technology behind every boost in the video below!
Women make up 25% of Booster’s executive team, and everyone has an opportunity for professional growth within the company. All employees are full-time with company ownership, benefits, consistent schedules, and reasonable hours. In addition to the work, Booster hosts frequent team-building activities and family-friendly events that foster open communication and camaraderie within the team. For CDL drivers used to being solo and on the road for extended periods of time, having a fun work culture and the ability to balance work and home priorities really matters.
“Booster supports women. Being a female driver is pretty unique, but they make sure we feel comfortable and respected. On top of that, the hours let me have work/life balance. I’m excited to see what the future holds for me and our team at Booster,” says Booster Service Professional, mother of two, and master’s student Christina Rodriguez. She is amazing — read more about Christina here!
Thank you to the women in the driver’s seat at Booster. We’ve delivered over 20 million gallons of fuel, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Here’s to another 20 million!
