  • Each of those refueling trips is around 2.2 miles or 403 unnecessary miles per vehicle per year. Now, imagine if we’re in LA where the Los Angeles Area, where the average is 3.7 miles per refueling trip.

  • At the current average diesel price of $3.59/gallon, assuming your vehicles are getting 18mpg, the fuel you need to get you to the gas station and back costs you another $80 per vehicle per year.

  • Fleetcor reported an average of 5 gallons of attempted fraud per month per vehicle from trips to the gas station for refueling.

  • At $3.59/gallon of diesel, that’s another $215 per vehicle per year.
