Creating a Samsara Account to Share with Booster Fuels

Step 1: Go to https://cloud.samsara.com/signin and enter your administrative credentials.

Step 2: On the side menu bar, go to Settings → Developers → API tokens

Step 3: On the top menu, go to “Add and API token”:

Step 4 All data: Fill in the details and select Global Read scope. Giving all data read access will allow us to build new features without any permission changes required from your end.

Step 4 ( limited data ): Fill in the details. Select only Read Vehicles and Read Vehicle Statistics Scope from Vehicles Menu. Deselect all other scopes selected by default.

This should give us all required permission to read vehicle data using API. The token is generated with 2 Read and 0 Write Scopes.

Step 5: Please Save Access Token generated and share with Booster rep.

Creating a Geotab Account to Share with Booster Fuels

Step 1: Go to https://my1.geotab.com/ and enter your administrative credentials

Step 2: On the side menu bar, go to Administration → Users

Step 3: On the top menu, go to “Add”:

Step 4: User (Email): Will be provided to you by Booster Fuels:

First name: Booster

Last name: Fuels

Step 1: Request the Booster team to provide you with the following information -

1. Booster-generated username and password

2. Webhook endpoint URL

Step 2: Enable API Integration in Reveal Marketplace

1. From the top-right navigation bar in the Reveal Portal, select your account profile icon and from the drop-down menu, click Marketplace.

2. Click API Integrations

3. Click GET STARTED

4. Complete the data access form, in Account details, fill in the required information, including:

Integration name: BoosterIntegration

Third-party name: Booster Fuels

Developer name: Booster Developer

5. Read and Authorize the Data Access Consent Form. Click Next and CONFIRM REQUEST.

6. Click CONFIRM REQUEST

7. Once your request is submitted, an email is sent to you with the integration user credentials, you can ignore this email.

Step 3: Enable Webhook Integration in Reveal Marketplace

1. Reveal marketplace > API Integrations > MANAGE INTEGRATIONS.

2. At the API integrations list, choose the BoosterIntegration integration and click SUBMIT ENDPOINTS.

3. Go to GPS webhook and click SUBMIT ENDPOINTS.

4. Fill in the Submit GPS webhook endpoints form, with the endpoints that were provided to you by Booster, and enter your username and password.

5. Click SUBMIT.
